Agree with others this game is good in theory but the people who run it do a terrible job. Don’t download this app if you want to play the game for more than 5 minutes a Day. That is unless you want to dish out some cash. Than you can buy resources to participate in the game. Yes, that’s right. This game makes you pay in an indirect way just to be able to compete/
  • Is this still in beta?

The game is offensively bad. I can only assume the positive reviews have been paid for. They certainly haven't invested in fixing the game or in good customer support. The cool ads during WWE programs drew me in but this game is pretty awful. It's buggy laggy crashes constantly and is worst of all dull. After you've seen the move animations a few times it has nothing left. A dull match 3 with a bad match ending dynamic a flawed progression format and a bad system that puts all the interesting characters behind a paywall.
  • Extremely greedy developer!!!

Been playing this game for about half a year now and dropped hundreds of dollars. A couple weeks ago they raised the monetary price for loot pulls in the game without reason or justification. No quality of life improvements were made to the game. Bottom line: would not advise anyone to play this game
  • Unnaceptable by all means

You guys asked for it. If any new gamer is reading this, please stay away from this until the developer fixes all the issues this game has... I also noticed my original review is not here anymore (don’t know if new iOS and app store caused this, didn’t follow closely). Anyways, a list of a few things that make this game a joke: - Constant bugs (repeated ones BTW) every week and every time a new feature comes out. - Ridiculous odds for the Mega Superstars. I realize you run a business and need to make money, but there are games out there that do this right. WWE Champions is not one of those games. - Poor faction hub. A total mess. Takes various tries to get in it and not have issues. - Faction feuds are inconsistent. I’ll give them that the last feud was much better than previous ones, but there were still lock ups in progress and in wait queues, why? The game is not new! - LT tours rigged specifically to promote spending. Yes, the spending on characters you have almost no chance of getting unless you throw thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars on. Are you kidding? - Fake difficulty increases. Facing a tougher, higher level opponent will not be considered a challenge if you have a chance to beat it, so therefore Scopely blatantly programs the game so that you can’t even do one favorable gem match, essentially trying to get you to spend on unnecessary things to try an beat said opponent. Specially on Blitz. I’ll stop here. Developer, realize that many more reviews like this are coming. Get your act together while you have a chance.
  • Seems to be just a money generator for them

While the regular gameplay is good, most of the time you don't even dare to partake in feuds or special events because the load and lag rate is horrible. Don't waste you $ purchasing anything, unless you plan on spending 1k because the pull rates are so astronomically low that it isn't worth it. This game could be the best one out there, if Scopely would fix what's wrong, instead of just trying to add to it.
  • Glitches, poor game logic, a waste

Just follow their Twitter feed for their weekly apologies for their terrible programming. I've never seen a mainstream game with so many glitches. I can deal with glitches and errors that this game frequently gets, but an element to the game is to save up "cash" event shirts, and two star coins to redeem for new wrestlers... When you do so, chances are you get a duplicate wrestler. Giving you pointless posters that you can't do anything with on as maxed out character until you evolve them. A waste of time
  • Good game.

Like the game. I wish you had more control of the characters you receive in the loot. At least give options on eras or classes. Anything at all would be better than getting the same characters over and over again.
  • Too many issues

Scopely has way too many issues to list each and everyone of them. Faction Feud is a disaster because their servers can’t keep up with the quantity of people participating. They continue to increase prices while their quality of work decreases. They supposedly give out cash and new wrestlers to the top factions. Especially those who promote their company on YouTube. I wouldn’t get yourself in too deep into this game unless scopely changes their way of conducting business.
  • Pay to win

Pay to win can’t advance unless you pay. Even then you will hardly get the best superstars. Wish I could rate lower. This game is garbage.
  • Lots of bugs

Bugs will cost real money if not vigilant. Almost lost $100’s (I was shocked too when totaled amount) due to minor account error. Took 30+ days of advocating and hours of time merely to reclaim account. Customer service is responsive but very unaccommodating when it comes to reimbursing lost time and real world money lost to system bugs and loopholes. Fun to play but aggravating when you start paying for perks. Good game for the patient of those with ample free time. Not good for the paying and busy types. ADDITIONAL FEEDBACK: Truly a 50/50. Extremely fun, deceptively expensive if you don’t actively ledger your spending—by the time iTunes processes purchases you may have spent 2x more than you thought pushing the “purchase” button in the heat of battle in matches or heat of passion in seeing your favorite childhood hero or villain available for a “limited time” the first few times and burning through ‘cheap’ a la cart packs (buy one big pack and bleed it out, pays off if patient and is foregone conclusion anyway once you see the dragon and start giving chase... Also, even if you are connected to Facebook screenshot your account info screen once you commit to your account an d get in the habit of screenshooting your roster about once a week and knowing the details of your faction. Should you need to re-install and Game Center doesn’t recognize your device you will need to start a new account again... you will know this happened when you have to replay that brutal tutorial again all of a sudden. Once this happens you may need to provide Scopely account info or the user which you are trying to recover, very specific roster info, various character levels/stats, gold/cash you had when disconnect occurred, coins you had stored, and various other things nobody should realistically know off-hand—it does provide good security from phishers stealing accounts, but it’s equivalent to losing a $100 and having to provide the number of bills, their denominations, and serial numbers of each bill as well as the thread count of the material which was holding the money... if you do not have a.l this info you can still get access back, but you will need over 50 exchanges with robots about 30 exchanges with humans and access to the iTunes account info that paid for the app purchases and about 30 days of patience before you finally get your account back. SCREENSHOT EVERY INTERACTION AND NEVER CLOSE YOUR ‘CONTACT US’ ticket by clicking on “yes” when they ask if your problem was solved. The ticket will stay open and you will have a rep on speed-dial and the open thread will translate through a full account reboot and device data deletion plus it keeps them handcuffed to you should you need to bring Apple into the equation. I only went through all this trouble to get my account back because I was SHOCKED at how I underestimated my spending and couldn’t let them slide with a penny of my money or without giving me back 100% of every piece of gameplay lost. Even with that they get about 2.5 stars considering the replay value and thrill of acquiring my generations wrestlers to whoop up on all these newer wuss Romeo Rains out there...
