  • Glitchy app and piss poor support

    This app is terrible. More often then not it fails to work properly. I have had an interfacing error for over a month now where I can’t see promotions, promotion progress and I have to manually reinstall my beacon every time I turn the app on.. I have contacted support several times with no change. Support offers copy paste answers that are useless and do nothing. Support blames programming errors on your phone instead of fixing the issue. When all else fails the tell you to drive to the nearest greenlight hub so an in person moron can do the same things tech support told you to do then look at you confused like they can’t believe the app is broken not your phone.

    I would have giving it 5 star but Uber has some issues related to its ow drivers, drivers most of the time lose money by getting long requests at their own cost; example, Uber will sent u a request for rider or food sometime over 10 mins driver with no pay, rides only pay for the pick up; therefore, drivers lose money and time also gas. Uber needs to adjust the request time, if rider requests driver that more then 5 miles drive then Uber need to charge rider extra t cover the time and driving .

    So it starts out that I get a trip request the first thing it’ll say his anywhere normally four minutes five minutes whatever then when I press except that four or five minutes turns into 15 or 20 minutes to pick up so that’s totally off the other thing is a lot of times it’ll give me an address and there’s no such address I have to wind up calling the passenger and I look stupid the other thing is sometimes it’ll bring me on the street five blocks away from where the pick up is we’re behind the store so picking up a in a strip mall is extremely difficult or anymore for that matter because the app does not tell you exactly what store they are at in the strip mall I have to rely on the little green dot that tells me where they are I’ve discussed this with UBER numerous amounts of times for them to tell me I’m crazy please fix

    I have been on boarding for about a month now and have not received so much as a word from Uber, there is no number to call when help is needed and the live chatroom is stowed away hidden under everything else in the website making it very discouraging to try and communicate.
  • 3078 Rides in 368 days and I’m treated like a criminal

    Improper Use, there goes my bonus AGAIN! I’ve never received a sign on bonus, the bonus for signing on another driver, THEY didn’t get their sign on bonus and NOW, because I’m a middle-aged woman driving in a community of 8000 people, now I’m accused of having “Too Many Repeat Riders.” What??? So the people I move around that go to and from work every day, that live either near me or request when I’m in their area, are considered “Repeat Riders” and I’m penalized for that TOO? The app hits its mark 4/10 times, which in its defense is a GPS mapping error more often than an actual App failure, but if you’re going to treat drivers - Esp. Ones like me with 4.96 ratings and 3078 rides completed in 368 days - maybe THATS the biggest epic fail of all. Pedantic Voyeurism: taking liberties to see what conversations I’m having when I only gave you access to the app on my phone. This is what I get for driving late night to help women get around safely. I always wondered why there isn’t a way for drivers to assist and support one another: they’d rather we not know how much they’re taking earned bonuses from SO MANY DRIVERS like me, who are just trying to serve their communities by helping people get around for a couple extra bucks. The TV ad says “Uber after work, get your side hustle on, then Cash Out and take your special someone out.” Wish I could but it seems my Cash Out Option is also mysteriously been taken away and wait for it...now the app won’t load and I’m banished from Uberland. You people have SERIOUSLY MISSED THE PLOT. I’m driving my derrière off, and you’re pocketing all my dough. Who’s hustling WHOM??? You’re Welcome!😡

    Does the following on a daily basis: gives wrong pickup/dropoff info; very poor navigation (seems to always take long routes to amp up fares); tells you to turn down one way streets the wrong direction; glitches and doesn’t load route or doesn’t allow you to mark a person as picked up/dropped off, today it signed me out in the middle of a ride and I didn’t get paid properly for the ride (which I finished for free). I would also love it if pool rides were anywhere close to each other. Today a rider was going 37 minutes away and we wasted 20 minutes picking up and dropping off another rider and his ride still said 37 minutes away when we were done. Why would you waste someone’s time like that? It would be great if you could change your ratings within a few hours of your ride, since it’s hard to be thinking about ratings with other passengers to go get to. Also, if a passenger rates a trip below 5, and it’s because of Navigation, how about you don’t send me a notification like it’s my fault. You created the navigation app not me!
