    Love the content, but pretty much hate everything else about this app. How do you release -- and CHARGE FOR -- a buggy beta version? FIX THIS PIECE OF CRAP OR I'M DONE.
  • UI is poor; crashes

    As others have stated, the UI is clumsy and non-intuitive. Also crashes during certain programmes. Tried re-starting and forwarding past the crash points, but to no avail. Appears to be a running-time issue, rather than a point-in-time issue. Suggest you try to sell to Netflix or Hulu and let Brit shows be an add-on rather than a separate app. Otherwise, the lameness of the UI and the glitches will be your downfall.

    user interface is clumsy at best. i watch this on my iphone and my apple tv. both are really bad to navigate. why say a show is available to view and have nothing to show ? content is good but getting to the content is a nightmare
  • Broken UI a Fatal Flaw

    Some good content for those of us in the US - a few real surprises - held back by a broken UI. The UI feels clumsy in general, but a few dead ends are unforgiveable. For example - on Apple TV - iOS 10 - if you start searching for a program and don't find anything - there is no option to go back to the previous menu. You'd think hitting "Menu" would take you up a level. You'd also be wrong. You can keep searching with the keyboard or Siri as long as you have patience, but if you want the catalog, you have to - yes - delete and reinstall the app. This is a great way to keep undiscovered gems undiscovered and greatly reduces the cost-benefit of Britbox. Hard to see how this app made it through QA.

    I've had this for a little over two weeks and there are so many issues with functionality via Chromecast. 1.) Once you cast, there is no way to scan through the video to rewind or fast forward. 2.) If I pause video I'm casting and shut down the app, when I restart it again it doesn't save where I left off in the video, I have to start the video from the beginning-this is where item #1 would come in handy. 3.) There's no auto-play feature. 4.) There's no indicators for the shows that I have already watched; add a "watch history" feature or at least put a star or something by the shows that have been played. There are other things I don't like, but these are the main triggers prompting me to cancel. Please, could you fix??!??

    Finally, Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale can be seen in the US, and commercial free. Great selection.

    Love the programs. Great mix of new and older shows. Adding new stuff frequently and well worth the monthly fee. However, the app often freezes, hard to navigate, and really hate I have to close after a show is over, go back and click to start another segment. But it's new and hopefully the app will be adjusted. With many streaming services as good examples this app didn't seem to include things to make it less frustrating. Yet, I'm happy to have access to great, interesting, and entertaining British tv! Despite the problems with the app I am recommending it to friends. Cheers!

    Found this on my roku when searching for 'are you being served?' Account setup fails, can't add payment information to start a free trial there or on iOS, useless.
  • Repeatedly crashes

    I just installed the latest update and the app still crashes when trying to browse content. I'll get the spinning circle like it's searching and after several minutes I give up and try to go to another screen and it just goes black. I have to turn my device off/on to get it to come back.
