Take the awesome power of your Sony PlayStation 4 console, and give it the portability and convenience of the Nintendo Switch. Stream your PlayStation 4 games to your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and play from anywhere. Never again will your gaming be interrupted when someone else needs to use the TV! R-Play features: • Play your PlayStation 4 games while away from home by streaming over the internet¹ • Supports HD 720p video (1080p for PS4 Pro) at 60 frames per second for crisp, smooth gameplay • Control games with any MFi game controller, or the built in virtual on-screen controller • Highly tuned performance with extremely low lag • Multiple profile support so you can use any number of different PlayStation 4 consoles or PSN accounts • Customise the virtual on-screen controller to your liking • Quick and easy one-time setup, start playing within seconds To use R-Play, your PS4 must be connected to your home network via LAN cable. For the best streaming experience, having your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connected to a 5GHz WiFi network is highly recommended. Your PS4 must be linked to a PSN account (however, R-Play does NOT require your PSN password). The current version of R-Play requires that your PlayStation 4 is running system software 4.73; other versions are not supported. Note 1: Playing over the internet requires your home network to be set up correctly. In most cases R-Play does this for you automatically. Some users may need to perform this set up manually, according to the instructions found in the included in help guide. • Best of the best

I don't usually spend any money on purchasing apps on App Store. But this app I believe is WELL WORTH my every dollar. I'm now able to connect to my PS4 to start any game updates whenever. When I arrive home, I'm able to start my game right away without delays. When my outside network speed is good enough, I'm able to play my games from anywhere. The support staffs are second to none. They took their time and were extremely patience with me. Although the issue was none of theirs, they took time to research and found a solution for me on my Xfinity network issue so that I can remote in from outside my home network. Trust me, this si well worth your money for only $12 or less if you ever want to play your PS4 games from anywhere.

  • works like it's official

surprised to say it but it actually works, wifi 4G LTE all connected for me with wifi obviously being the least laggy. despite the $10+ price tag I went interesting this expecting the app to barely work, if at all. but I'm pretty happy to say this app blew away my expectations if just for the fact that it works over 4G/LTE
  • Works great!!

This app is awesome! The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I'm using a steelseries nimbus controller instead of the on screen controls. So far I've been able to play every game I've tried on my playstation. I even figured out how to get R3 and L3 to work. it's pretty awesome to be able to play ps4 games on a phone!

  • Best Remote Play App By Far

    By Marius_cw
I have used many remote play apps on iOS and Android. This is one of the better ones. It works almost flawless over a home wifi network and with a MiFi controller or say a SteelSeries XL it works really well. Since I don't have my vita anymore I needed a good remote play substitute besides my laptop. This the the best one I have used so far. I mostly use it over internet and away from home and this map makes the whole process very simple to use over the internet. Simplistic by far. I would give this app five stars, but there are a few flaws. There isn't really support for L3, R3, buttons. You can set a combination, but you can only do one. It would be helpful if you can set more than one combination when using a controller. Or make this buttons available to be used or show up on the on screen controller. I have to pair my iOS device with my PS4 frequently to make sure that I can play over the internet. Now, the app does warn you that you may have to pair the device and set it up to work over the internet when network settings changes, but I have noticed this happens say if your router resets, your PS4 resets or updates, or if there is a power outage. Nothing worse than trying to use the app away from home and for some reason it lots the ability to do so. I tend to find myself daily or every other day just going into the settings to make sure it is configured to play over the internet. Besides that this app is great. Highly recommended despite these issues. Works best with a compatible controller, but the on screen controls are not that bad either.
