Type their name, 2. Select a few tasks from our list of suggestions, and 3. Reward their accomplishments with a single tap in the weekly chart --------------------------------------------------------------------------- When stars have been earned, your child can pick from the default list of suggested rewards, or you can setup your own custom rewards especially tailored for each of your children, like "$2 Pocket Money" or "One Hour Of TV". Children love to feel responsible, challenged and respected. But most children don't like being told what to do... iRewardChart also allows you to set up abstract goals like "Patience" and "Sharing With Others", so rewards teach the virtues you want your child to learn. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- iRewardChart includes a backup and sync service, so that parents and children can share their chart across the devices. Our sync services is FREE to use, and uses Dropbox, which is also free. "iRewardChart" is a full featured free version with only the following limitations: - It supports a maximum of one child. - It supports a maximum of four tasks per week Please consider buying the in-app Premium Feature that allows unlimited children and tasks if the basic version is helpful to you.

It is a good app but you cannot take away a point/star if was given by mistake. I made a mistake by giving my son's stars to my daughter and you cannot delete it or reset it. There should be a way to do that. Also don't change the pre-type list thatnis given, always ADD a new one other wise its gets really messy if you wants to delete it and change it.

It's been shoos app easy to use and modify to your own needs. But lately there is a glitch it keeps shitting itself down after it opens ups.
  • Ripoff / deceitful pricing for family but marginally useful

First, you have to buy the premium version for this to be useful. Not a big deal as I don't mind paying for valuable apps (I have upgraded many apps for as much as $20). However, this developer wants to squeeze as much as possible by making you think the upgrade fee is just 3.99. However, it is 3.99 per device even if you have Family Sharing. So, I can't share the app between my iPad and phone without paying for the upgrade again. Reached out to customer service multiple times and they basically said "Tough Luck". Don't buy it if you consistently use multiple devices as a family. If you only use one device as a family, you are probably fine. As for the app, I would say 50-60% is intuitive and the remainder just takes some clicking around to figure out how to customize. Customer service response time is fine, but pretty easy when you just have to respond with "too bad" all day. Perfect business model for AI canned responses I guess.
  • Great but not perfect

I really do love this app. This is the kind of thing I was looking for. We usually use paper charts for our children, however it was becoming a nuisance to print them out every week, and remember plus or minus points while we were away from the house. This app enables us to use a point system on the go with the convenience of the phone. I also like the fact that we can sync the account between mommy and daddy. However the one bug I found is that when I tried to sync my account the app crashed and I lost all my data because I had to reset it. Resetting it was pretty smooth. But now I'm worried about syncing. The other thing that is a little annoying about the app is that the general user interface is not exactly intuitive like it should be. Otherwise as far as functionality, this tool is perfect for our kids.

You can keep up with your kids do and you can have multiple children on this app it is very convenient you can set your own achievements for them and they can pick them it's very good for being a rewards chart and I'm seeing the progress and the negativity what they need to work on
  • App issues

After setting up kids in irewards, I sing to my account with my Facebook. Ever sense the app will not open. I deleted the app and reinstalled, which deleted everything I had set up. Basically if you don't feel like doing a bunch of work for nothing don't hit the select to sync with Facebook option!!! Developers finally wrote me back and told me error would be fixed with next update -who knows when that will be! If you're thinking about purchasing this app and the last it was updated was May 2017, then don't bother wasting your money! Hopefully they resolve this issue soon, because it has the potential to be very useful
  • Crashing Errors

App use started off at a 5 star quality but after a few weeks app keeps crashing - it won't even boot. Not sure if latest iOS related but developers need to keep up if so. Terrible shame since the basis and concept of app is well done.

This app is highly customizable. My kids are motivated because they helped come up with their own rewards. I love that you can build in lots of opportunities to do well and earn points and keep it all positive vs my former habit of taking away privileges from my kids for bad behavior. My older one is also starting to think about how she can budget for bigger long term rewards vs just instant gratification. I was able to install on Dad's phone and sync them so we can be consistent.
