I am glad they stream before they have the subtitles. It's my option to wait for 100% English or watch before it's finished.
  • Disappointed. Looking at a different service.

It's always a wait to get the shows translated bec they are done by volunteers. There are shows with little or no translation, so you can't watch it. Essentially you're paying for the convenience if they're available and 100% translated to your desired language. I toggle between DramaFever and Viki but now, I'm considering dropping Viki after my annual subscription is up. They also have a rule you can't paste competing URL to their boards --so juvenile.
  • Changes to subscription without notice!

I have been a paid subscriber for several years. I didn't mind paying for the pass to see the content without ads. This weekend I tried to watch a new drama and was told it was restricted to pass plus members. No notice. No explanation. WTH! I am seriously thinking about letting my subscription go. That's a shame because I otherwise really like the service.

I've paid Viki pass for the past few years and no ads. Now they want more if I want to watch newer shows after 24 hours of airing. That's ridiculous and should have had something to grandfather loyal users in. It's not like they have many more shows than drama fever. I have drama fever as well and it's much simpler to use with consistency.
  • I'm done.

I've had Viki for God knows how long, Ive had it since it was free. It was already too much paying 4.99 for the viki pass because the it takes forever for them to sub LITERALLY EVERY SHOW. But 9.99 for viki pass plus? Are you freakin serious? This is ridiculous. It just taking advantage of the fact that the dramas they have in viki pass plus don't have it anywhere else 😡 LIKE THEY DONT EVEN PAY THEIR SUBBERS!! WHY ARE THEY CHARGING SO MUCH? Imma use the rest of my membership and after that I will be deleting the app. THANKS VIKI.
  • Used to be favorite

Viki used to be my favorite but now with the viki pass plus restricting me from seeing new dramas... I don't see the point. I'm going to stick to dramafever now

I thought this app was for people who wanted to enjoy watching kdramas?? If it is, then its not working because I cant watch some of the latest dramas without a viki pass! I get that I'd need one for no ads but now it's dramas?? Come on..

I like Viki's timed comments feature bec it makes watching fun. And of course there are some great shows that are exclusive to them. What I don't like is having to pay $9.99 to all the contents that may or may not be fully subbed. They have volunteered subbers (who we are very grateful to) that of all the work. Look, I didn't think $4.99/mo was ok but $9.99? That's pretty steep so make the subscription worth it. 😤
