  • Good app, but In App Purchase Warning

First off, I do really like this app. I enjoy being able to read news and see scores about my favorite team. I decided to purchase the $20 in app purchase because I wanted to be able to watch full games. I do not have access to cable or satelite tv. When my team had its first spring training game a couple days ago, I tried to play the game and it says MLBtv subscription required. Now, I don’t know if it was because it’s spring training or if it’s because I misunderstood the apps purchase, but I would like to know exactly what it is I am paying $20 a year for if I cannot watch live games. I want to add that I still enjoy the app and that I am not going to delete the app and I still find this a good resource, but I think that MLB should make a disclaimer for others who have the same impression...another idea is to add this to the $20 or make a separate in app purchase for live games. A student discount would also be a good idea. I hope this review helps others

The only thing using my 35Mb of internet is to stream the game right now. It can’t keep up, cuts out, or just completely shuts off.

Spring Training games sometimes link to video, sometimes just click or kick you out.

This is a 5 star app and streaming service BUT DO NOT LET the rating FOOL YOU. There's ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT. The Apple TV version STILL DOES NOT let you CHOOSE A FEED for a 2nd game when you use the DUAL VIEW feature & the DUAL VIEW FORCES you to start a LIVE GAME FROM THE BEGINNING when viewing a 2nd game & how about the OPTION TO CHANGE FEEDS once you select a feed WHEITHER it's SINGLE OR DUAL VIEW & I am STILL WAITING FOR AN HTML5 SETUP for DESKTOP OPERATING SYSTEMS like macOS high Sierra for MLB.TV I'll have another review for this app come Opening Day

App is alright but when go to choose a favorite team to click on . You can’t cause all the teams are scrambled and overlapping each other . Please fix this problem .
  • New update widescreen issues

As always, great content. The newest update has created issues with widescreen viewing. The box score and scoreboard cannot be swiped away without rotating the screen back to an up and down view. For some reason the X’s to close the highlights are very difficult to hit. Looks like it is spring training for the developers as well!

Hey MLB, we are Padres fans in Texas and can’t watch games live bc it is too late for my kids. So we watch the replay the next morning. I would move my 4 stars to 5 stars if you could please edit out the blank space for commercials between innings. Other than that, we love love love this service and pay for it every year. Go Pads!!!
