The video player has a mind of its own. You had one job.
  • There’s a limit

I love this app because CBS is my favorite network. The price appears to have risen since I purchased the subscription. If it rises again, I will cancel my subscription. The percentage for the entertainment piece of the budget pie is becoming much too large.
  • Paying for CBS aside, the app is awful

Streaming services and apps have been around for a decade. Picture is picture about half that. Why is it every streaming app can handle the basics except for this one? No PIP means you are locked into a video and no way to do something as simple as responding to a text without exiting. And, upon return you have to spend a fair amount of tine finding the correct episode and position within the episode. For example, I am binging on a show now, when I enter the app, the Recently Viewed section shows episodes from a season I a am done with and had watched days earlier - having watched several others since. The scrubber doesn’t work. You can move the slider, but it does not change the position in the video. I don’t necessarily mind paying CBS for commercial free. But, the full back catalog should be available, and the app must not be aggravating and user hostile.
  • Poor performance

The app keeps stalling, and refuses to play the selected show. Needs an update to fix this issue! Note: An update ago, it worked well. Then the app was updated again, and it is failing to play past the first set of commercials. So unacceptable. I wish there was another way to keep up with programs I miss due to my unorthodox work schedule.
  • Worst app ever!

So you’re telling me I pay money to watch this app and the black out half the shows on live TV. Come on CBS, don’t be so greedy.
  • Can’t compare to Netflix

    By superseawolf
It’s unfortunate that CBS only shows Star Trek Discovery on all access. I did the one month free trial and ended up stopping after the first episode because the amount of ads was ridiculous. If they put it out on dvd I might buy it, but I’ll be sticking to Netflix where I don’t have to watch 5 minutes of ads every 8 minutes. Plus we use a Roku so all the ads have to load first, which is really annoying. You already pay for the subscription, you shouldn’t have to pay to get rid of ads too.
  • CBS

Why is this network charging a fee when every other network is free and we are already paying for it through our cable provider what a scam CBS should be a shame of itself
  • MacGyver

Is this something new that we have to subscribe to watch MacGvyer?
  • Deeply Disappointed

    By Mie11334
My wife and I tried this service App recently in order to watch some of the new shows. From the beginning we had nothing but issue after issue. I downloaded it to my iPhone initially and when opening the App it time after time would do nothing but show the CBS logo, never actually doing anything. I erased it, re-downloaded it, and then tried it several more times without any differences in function. We ended up having it work on my Wife’s Android phone, which is not saying much—considering a normal person cannot know if it is iPhone/Android/or CBS that is what is actually having the issues. After we actually got the service working, we were bewildered at the COMPLETELY ridiculous questions wanting essentially every bit of personal data we have, our phone data, and maybe a drop or two of blood. We were disappointed with what is essentially being offered as a pseudo version of Netflix/Amazon Prime/ETC., that does not stand up to each it seems. The pay scale of a subscription to this does not compare with other options, and we cannot really recommend this overall. Sorry CBS—please stay with what you are historically good at, or rethink your pay scale for subscriptions and we may try again at some other point.
  • Crashes Chromecast

Every time I try to watch Seal Team the app somehow crashes my chromecast and forces it to reboot. I don't experience this with any other app when casting. It's very frustrating and disappointing.
