    Why would an app that actually links into your bank account have the nerve to even think of inviting anybody into their wallets or account, providing anyone has a spare or another wallet. Who are you people to think this happens in everyday life. It comical!! I’m urinating in my panties as I write this. I’m unsure it’s nerves or laughter. I, for one, know of nobody. HAHAHA

  • Needs a ton of work

    Coming from YNAB, which I used for many years, I’m only letting it go because I can’t justify spending $80/year on something that’s supposed to save you money. I had tried pretty much every budget app available on the store. Here are my requirements: 1. Can hold multiple accounts 2. Input everything manually (I don’t like connecting bank accounts) 3. Easy to use 4. Easy on the eyes. The final two are Spendee and one I won’t mention our of respect to Spendee. Overall, Spendee is a very beautiful app, if you are only using one “wallet”/account it’s great, any more than one, and it starts to become a nightmare. The desktop version is still in beta and not even close for user testing let along the public. My biggest complaints are: For every account you create, it create a brand new set of categories. So assuming there are 10 categories, if you have 5 accounts you now have 5x10 categories (5 for gas, 5 for groceries, etc). And there is NO EASY WAY TO DELETE THEM. Every time you try, the app/site crashes and all the changes are not saved. If by some miracle you manage to get as far as saving, the changes WILL NOT TAKE EFFECT on the other platform until you start editing more settings. All set and done, I could probably write an essay on what needs to be fixed with this app/service. It has a ton of potential, and perhaps one day it will become the best budget tracker ever, for now, it takes way too much work to even get started. Not worth the time.

    My experience with this appl was great on my Galaxy note but after switching to IPhone the appl got a bit complicated to use. I hope they develop a friendly/simple version for iOS too.

  • Transfer funds between wallet

    I love this app, only missing feature for me is ability to transfer funds between wallet. Saw my withdrawal count as expenses is really weird. Already saw it on “upcoming features” on your website so I’ll wait for the update, 3 stars for now cause I really need that feature.
  • App doesn’t work and they DON’T care

    I’ve never left a review but I’m doing it here because this is worst developer support experience of my life. They created an amazing app, got their customers dependent on it, turned them into paying customers, and then everything falls apart. For the past 2 months the app has had a mind of its own and been shifting the dates of expenses. Given Spendee is a “budgeting” app, this bug creates absolute CHAOS. For example, if you have been logging your recurring rent payment on the first of every month, then for the current month it just decides to move it back one day to the end of last month, then your budget for both the past month and the current one are utterly USELESS. Now think of that happening for 20+ individual expenses. Nightmare. We all know bugs come up, but what has been the most shocking is the response time and the total indifference by the developers. They respond 3-4 weeks late, and when they do, their response is that they are “under staffed” and are “busy rolling out new features.” How about you focus on making sure the current features work and use some of our subscription money to hire more people?
