** App Store's Editor's Choice ** *From the team at ORIGINATOR - the creators of the beloved Endless Alphabet and Sesame Street's Monster at the End of This Book and Another Monster.... Originator is a team of passionate artists and engineers dedicated to the best education+entertainment apps for kids.* As a follow-up to Endless Alphabet, set the stage for early reading success with Endless Reader! This app introduces "sight words", the most commonly used words in school, library, and children's books. Kids need to recognize these words by sight in order to achieve reading fluency. Recognizing sight words is advantageous for beginning readers because many of these words have unusual spelling, cannot be sounded out using phonics knowledge, and often cannot be represented using pictures. Kids will have a blast learning sight words and their context and usage with the adorable Endless monsters. Each word features an interactive word puzzle with letters that come alive, and then a sentence puzzle with words that become what they describe. See the word "dog" as a barking dog, and the word "up" reach for the sky! ** NOTE: You must be online and have sufficient disk space while running the app to get all words in the app. ** Features: - 6 words free to try with additional word packs available for purchase. - Delightful animations reinforce sight recognition of words in a fun and interactive way. - Word puzzles reinforce spelling using lower-case letters and the sentence puzzles teach definition and usage (in addition to sight recognition). - 3D Touch on iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus makes letters and words react in an extra special way! - Endless Reader was designed with your children in mind. There are no high scores, failures, limits or stress. Your children can interact with the app at their own pace.

  • Not perfect. Wish it was

    By Livelifejoyfully
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Beautiful graphics, entertaining and engaging. BUT The problem is that they use the letter name and not the letter sound when filling in the word. Give me the phonics!
  • Very cute app

Good or not, the answer is whether kids like it and learn from it. My kids really love it and learnt some letters words and sounds.
  • Great game

    By stevehvr
This game is very well designed. Great sound design, animation and art direction. The music is good and the UI is intuitive for kids. It's also fun and funny. My son loves it and has been playing it for close to a year, I believe. However, he melted down because all of the words that used to be available to him on level 1, are no longer available. I get that it's a business, but I don't like it when a business treats my child like an addict. I would have paid for additional levels, but taking away what was already free after he grew to love it...I can't support that. Hats off to the artists.

This is a great app everything about it is great! My son started using it when we was about 1 1/2 yrs old. The app is so easy to use he was able to use it without any trouble. Now his 2 years and 2 months. His saying the words, letter sounds. I'm super glad for this app!

This is one of my go to games with my grandkids. They're almost 4 and 2, and they really enjoy it! And they learn a lot!
  • Where are the words?

    By Everyday Jane
I just paid $30 to upgrade and see all levels...we have been waiting all day and maybe 2 more words have updated. My 2 year old loves the app and this is part of 3rd birthday surprise but I am the one getting the surprise...Can you please either fix or reimburse the money?
  • Absolute breakthrough!

    By ellibugsmom
I cannot say enough good about this app. The expansion packages are WORTH the money, too!! My 6 year old autistic daughter is learning to READ and spell because of this app! And I could try tears of joy because of it. I will be telling EVERYONE to use this one to teach their children. It is absolutely wonderful!
  • Great sounds and graphics!

The excellent animation and funny sounds that are presented with each word guarantee that everyone (including the instructors) will stay engaged with the lesson and can be entertaining as well as educational!
