  • Cannot install app on Apple TV

    By SraSlim
The app will not install on Apple TV. Please fix this. I am using 4th gen Apple TV and it will not download the app onto Apple TV. I know I can use airplay to view it, but I am trying to get it set up for relative who is not tech-savvy.

Constantly stopped by buffering and a lot of the shows r very old. But there r a few good ones they just need to fix the spotty buffering.
  • Love love the shows, hate hate the app.

The app has now crashed and despite every method of trying I can't get in. The "support" page won't even let you send an email.

I couldn't figure out how to use it ( tried 3 times). So I deleted it. No telling what I'll be charged even though it was on the 7 day free trial.
  • Not user friendly

    By Leebek
I have tried twice now to access this site and each time I am told I have to go through lTunes and there no instructions on how to accomplish this. The app has been deleted, and it's a shame because I loved the site for the week I had as a free trial.
  • Love content but glitchy app

    By merman_93
I love British tv. Every series on here prior to 2010 I already have on DVD but that's fine, this is easier. Last few times there has been an update, I can't get app to work on Apple TV, but ok on iPhone so use airplay. Just goes to blank screen. Hard reset same result. I end up eventually looking up by password , then deleting and reinstalling. It's happened 3 times, but if it happens again, I'll cancel and just use BritBox, and WETA-UK.
  • Need iOS updates, offline viewing and other items

    By hoorayberet00
Hi- Similar to other streaming services, Acorn content is unavailable to download for offline viewing? I ask because this is extremely helpful when trying to take advantage of my new subscription to Acorn TV but don't have Wi-Fi in all areas when traveling. Or when I'm at the gym and their Wi-Fi doesn't allow access to streaming content. Amazon Prime, Netflix, iTunes, Comcast Xfinity, Showtime and many others allow downloading for offline enjoyment. Please consider this option. We do pay for this service and keeping pace with competition is necessary as competitors are making compelling suggestions why money should be spent on their attractive services. Also, please make sure that your content is searchable by the Siri Remote for Apple TV and for iPad's Spotlight Search. Just like having your content integrated with IMDb's search capabilities is very helpful. Moreover, one of the first impressions I had with your service was poor. I tried to simply play the trailer for the title "Emma" featuring Kate Beckinsale. I received an error and it was not able to play the trailer. I have to hope this was just a poor first impression. But this impression will stick with me and the folks who got it for my birthday. Please remedy this situation. Please add support for picture-in-picture viewing in iOS. Many of your competitors support picture-in-picture viewing. It's essential for someone like me to get things done. My understanding is the coding for this is not difficult and there are lots of resources out there to help your developers create the best viewing experience. Please allow for full-screen viewing on iPad. Lastly, while I have not completed my full survey of your catalog of titles, it would be fantastic if your content was helped by Siri for searching. I asked for Acorn as a gift for a reason: your content appeals to me. And I hope I'm wrong in perceiving the lack of keeping pace with technology. Keeping pace with available technology allows you to deliver a best-in-class viewing experience to a group of people you'll attract and retain who wish to reward you for that. I look forward to enhancements that your app and service will have. P.S. - If you wish to add any French or Canadian-French items, I am very interested in this.

  • Great shows and seamless app viewing

The shows are fantastic: Detectorists, A Place to Call Home, Count Arthur Strong, you can't get these shows anywhere else. The app is very stable and easy to use.
