The seller is a rip off artist, it’s $20 more than buying the subscription directly from acorn for a year subscription.

Recent update has broken recognition that I am a subscriber. Please fix.

Love the shows, hate the app. I finally started just going to the website. 😫

  • Ability to download? Streaming not always so smooth

I solely stream via my iPhone due to the logistics. My building needs a re-wire but it's an Act of Congress to do so. Unfortunately streaming via a Phone is not great due to the limited 'unlimited' data plans. Would you consider Providing the ability to download a show for viewing within 24-48 hours? Love the shows, not loving the continuous erratic interruptions that come from streaming a good series. This app seems to suffer the fate more than most.
  • Too many resources unavailable

I do enjoy the offered shows, but am stopped too many times with an episode which won’t play because the ‘resource is unavailable ‘. This needs to be fixed.

Logged into new account after letting older account lapse. It will not accept my username or password so I cannot watch any programming. It did joyfully accept my month’s prepay for service. Just glad I did not subscribe for a whole year. Also, there is absolutely NO subscriber support in the app. It’s send us the money and that’s all you get. Very disappointed!

I lasted a month. I had to cancel because it kept asking me to subscribe and/or log in through iTunes. It's a mousetrap. NOTHING worked. I escalated to Apple I emailed with Acorn multiple bromea and no one was able to fix the problem. Per iTunes and my subscription I have an active account but per acorn it was not active. Good bye Acorn. Love your shows but the app is unbearable.

I have never written a review for an app before. After streaming some British detective series on Netflix, I googled "the best British detective series", and among the list, each suggestion included the "ways to watch". I saw acornTV as the only means to watch a few of the suggestions, so decided to try the free week. It's so great that I'm keeping my subscription! All the British (and Aussie) shows I could imagine in one place! Absolutely LOVE this app! Wish there were a website, so I could stream from my TV as well as my phone & iPad...or an app I could get for my Samsung smart TV.
  • Great shows, can't watch them

Somebody please tell me what good is a tv subscription app that I can't watch on my android smart tv without other devices?! I have it on my iPad for the free week, but will wait to pay until I can download an app that works on my smart tv.
