Description

Over 21 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble: On Bumble, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL "Bumble exists to empower women..." (Fast Company) "Bumble is just an app: but it's changing the discussion." (Wired) "Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:" (UK Sunday Times) "Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app" (Texas Standard) "What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. • This app just shown how ridiculous the world we lived in

Since I lost hope on Match, got recommended by friend to use this app. Maybe I’ll find some one I can talk to or spend some quality time with....same jokes on me. The only match that I’ve found was a call girl....soliciting me to pay for her service in order to get her on a ‘date’.... what the hell man, do you guys even filter these profiles? I might not look like a hot shot and ‘single’ like never touched anyone before, or to look like a Celebrity fabulous on instagram or snap chat. I just wanted to maybe sit down and have a genuine talk with some one who shared the same relationship issue as me, and help motivate each other....that thought is mostly considered stupidity nowadays.... Well this app is the same as others. You have the high standards, the high maintenance, scammers, the solicitors, the insecurities and the pretentious feasted all over the page. What happened to the genuine world we used to lived in? Figured I’d just have to realize to live in a real world of isolations of my soon to be single life...can’t put hope and trust in anything, anyone in the modern world nowadays.... don’t use this app unless you’re a social butterfly with a selfie stick of champions of Instagram.
  • ❤️Perfect for NYC bf search❤️

I was worried about the woman texts first thing, since I want to know that a man is brave enough to initiate, but it gives you great control! You can be so selective and the 24 hour limit is GREAT so you don’t have randoms floating around wasting your time. YES there’s more attractive guys on top- I thought that was great, personally. Also, these peoples points about fake bots in the other reviews are silly- I was able to meet nearly all of my matches and didn’t catch a single catfish, and got matched back on nearly all of them with responses. Just be SELECTIVE, ladies! People complaining about the types of women or men being vain or not writing back aren’t being thoughtful enough about their swipes. It’s great in NYC for dating to find a partner- I found guys on tinder wanted hookups and ones bumble were looking for someone more serious. We’ve been dating for over a year :)

They need to have better options for guys and for girls for paid features. Like upping frequency of being shown to potential matches boosts like okcupid and tinder. Also make it so only recently active profile are shown and those who have sent messages recently get higher priority like keep the serious people at the top and people who are simply too busy to date out of the picture.
  • Women make the first move brilliant.

I was looking for a “dating app” to meet people in my area that I just moved to. This one stood out to me. Women make the first move. You don’t have to guess if they are interested or not. I’ve had the app for about a day now. I saw some people I was interested in so I obviously swiped right. I literally spent a good 30 minutes looking through and swiping right to people I wanted to talk to. No responses or matches. So I increased the distance to max and swiped right to everyone. I had to have swiped right to over 100+ women. I got one match. It was a dude. I’m not interested in men but I got matched with a dude. I sent the first message. I said “hey what’s up man”. He said “hey dude not much. How’s your day going”. I responded saying “I woke up today so pretty good”. He said “Lmao”. I responded back letting him know I’m not interested in men but I’ll still chat with him. No response. I love the idea of the app and the UI. I guess I’m just not interesting enough. One thing I really hate is money grabbing developers. $2 for a coin to super swipe on someone to let them know I’m really interested in them. I’m. It going to pay two dollars just so I can be noticed. Another money grab I have found was when I got two matches outside of my search distance. I clicked it, it told me they were outside my search distance and asked if I wanted to see the matches. So I clicked it and if I wanted to see the match’s I would have to subscribe to the premium version of the app. All-in-all. I love the idea and the UI. Of course there are the fake/inactive accounts but they’re easy to spot. I guess I’m not interesting enough for the women in my area. Last but not least developers trying to make a quick buck off of desperate people trying to find someone to connect with. I will still use the app but won’t give them a dime of my money. If I wanted to use money to get a girls attention I would go to a strip club. Will come back with an update in the future if the results get better, if not my review is why. To the developers that responded to the reviews on here. Don’t give the same spiel you gave everyone else. Surprise update in the end of my initial review. I GOT A MATCH I CANT WAIT TO SEE WHOS INTERESTED IN ME, anddddddd it’s another dude. Keep up the good work bumble developers you’ll understand all 137 genders eventually. I bet this review gets removed. Peace out my fellow lonely people.
  • Why Lie about your age?

Every guy has a fake Fb page just for dating so they can lie about there age? Why bother? There has to be some kind of verification. Men have fake names, multiple profiles etc. if you are looking to actually date, this app is a waste of time.
  • Sneaky charges to your credit card

Swipe with caution! Charged me 6 months activation “boost “membership, when I did not subscribe to it! Poor customer service as they would not refund me the $86. They need to make it right! Very dissatisfied:(

    1) The coin price is absurd. 2) as a paying customer I should be able to reverse more than 3 times ever 3 hours. 3) wish I could use an advance search to narrow down the type of partner I’m looking for.

It would so great to know how a person is with me. And I would appreciate it much more if I can control the distance on how far I to get my match with. Thanks

Hidden fees. Stick to tinder. Automatic subscription charges cost me $200+. Copy/paste customer service emails. Trust me... This app’s NOT worth it.
